For over 20 years, he has delighted the Northeast region with his exceptional Caribbean culinary offerings, and now he brings his expertise to South Florida.

 

Having graduated from the esteemed Heart Academy in Jamaica West Indies, where he studied Hospitality, Management, and the Culinary Arts, Chef Shakir honed his skills and knowledge. He began his professional journey as a chef in the hotel industry and later embarked on the pursuit of his lifelong dream—owning and operating his own restaurant.

 

In 2014, Food Eyez Catering was established when Chef Shakir joined forces with his wife, Paula. Their focus lies in catering for private parties, corporate affairs, and fulfilling delivery orders. Each year, they joyfully commemorate their love for food and their valued customers with a grand fish fry celebration.
